In the last few months, breakdancers have been working on the exit of a "freeze". A tense body position or a body sculpture collapses. The research of movements is projected on several transparent panels, a sleeping woman in three generations and the collapsing body of the dancers are overlapping. While in slow motion the movements approach each other, the performer imitates the moments of collapse. The temporalities overlap, the exhibition space is filled with unconscious physicality.
A moment of fall is a loss of control par exellence. The moment when the human body twitches in sleep, a moment when it is impossible for the memory to reconstruct the movement, is dominated by the absence. When the will as well as the muscle power slips, something/somebody breaks down. We are aging fragilly, without noticing it between the gaps in memory, it is too difficult to keep the consciousness omnipresent.
